Your shop's records are yours. This page says exactly what Parchi keeps, what never leaves your phone, and who else can ever see any of it.

Parchi holds two different things, and they are treated differently.
Your account. The details you gave us to have a Parchi account at all — your mobile number, your name, your shop's details. We decide how this is handled, and this policy is our promise about it.
Your shop's records. Your customers, your bills, your stock, your suppliers. This is your data. We only hold it so the app can show it back to you on every device you sign in on. We do not sell it, we do not mine it, and we do not use it to advertise anything to you or to anybody else.
When you save a customer, Parchi stores what you typed: name, mobile number, email, address, city, state, pincode, GSTIN, and a birthday or anniversary if you added one. The same applies to suppliers. Bills link to whichever customer you chose.
You entered this and you are responsible for it — including telling your own customers what you keep about them, if the law where you trade asks you to. We hold it on your behalf and act on your instructions. Ask us to delete it and it goes.
Being specific is more useful than a promise, so:
Your shop's data lives in two places. It is stored on your device, so the counter keeps working when the internet does not — a bill written with no signal is saved on the phone and sent when the connection comes back. And it is stored on our servers in India, so the same shop opens on a second phone or in a browser.
Your sign-in token is held in your device's own encrypted storage. Traffic between the app and the server is encrypted in transit. If you use Parchi with no server at all — the offline-only mode — your records never leave the device.
Nobody, unless you connect them yourself. Parchi can be linked to other services, and each one only ever receives the part of your data that the job needs:
Link none of them and none of them get anything. We may also be required to hand data to a court or a government authority that has the legal standing to demand it; we will tell you when we are allowed to.
If you switch your online store on, the things you chose to publish — item names, prices and photos, your shop's name and address — are on a public web page, because that is what a shop window is. Your customer list, your costs and your bills are not. When somebody orders from that page, what they typed to place the order comes to you.
We keep your shop's data for as long as your account exists, because it is your book of accounts and you will need last year's figures. Ask us to close your account and we delete your records within 30 days, except anything Indian tax or accounting law requires us to hold longer.
You can close it yourself: in the app or the browser till under Settings → Delete account, or without the app at https://pos.jet66.cloud/delete-account, where you confirm your number with a WhatsApp code. That page says exactly what is deleted and what the tax law makes us keep.
You can ask us at any time for a copy of what we hold, for a correction, or for deletion. Most of it you can already export yourself — reports and registers come out as spreadsheets from inside the app.
Parchi is a tool for running a business. It is not designed for or directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from anybody under 18.
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top of it. If a change matters — if we start collecting something we did not collect before — we will tell you in the app rather than hoping you re-read this page.
